The tour guide was wonderful and was able to keep the tour very interesting and entertaining while still informational. The sights were stunning and the guide, Victor, really knew what he was talking about. He was also very accommodating to whatever changes we asked for even during the tour. Elena picked us up on time and gave us a great tour from Heraklion to Chiana with several interesting stops on the way. She was well informed and very knowledgeable. We were traveling on winter, and they arranged us a two day private tour, one to the Archeological Sites of Knossos, Gortys and Phaistos; the other one to Rethymno, Melidoni Cave and Arkadi Monsatery. My daughter is a history fan, and she absolutely loved Panos, the guide of the archeological sites; we enjoyed everything! That day the took us to a small and beautiful non touristic tavern, the best experience ever!! The Cretan family who received us, were very welcoming and warm people, we had the chance to eat local products and to enjoy the cretan cuisine. Thank you Katherina (guide) to take us there! The other day was amazing, Helen (guide) took us to the wonderful city of Rethymno, and the Arkady Monastery. We learned a lot! The Melidoni caves were closed, but Helen managed to take us to an Olive Oil factory, and to the beach. We experienced a most beautiful island with great views. Special thanks to the tour guide Sofia. She is very warm, attentive, friendly and with the humor. They were very warmly received. We take individual tours every year and it's always very interesting, educational, exciting and very heartwarming. This year there was an excursion Matala-Fest-winery-mountain villages, and it was amazing, so much learned from guide Alexander, running along uncharted paths, climbing unexpected peaks, ripping fresh fruit in the gardens, immersing themselves in history, getting to know the locals. They turned an ordinary tour into a real adventure, offering me unique visits to off-the-beaten-path villages, a stop at a shepherd’s house, and even a meal at a local taverna that only the locals know about. I would’ve never experienced Crete like this if I had traveled on my own or with a big tour bus. I’m so grateful for the unforgettable experience.
