Begin of the tourMorning Pick up

We will start collecting participants from pick-up points in the morning. 
Depending on the place of your hotel/apartment the bus drive will differ.

Bus Drive: 40 min (average)

1st stopHeraklion port

Embarkation on a speed boat and departure for Santorini.Enjoy a 2.5 hours journey by a high-speed boat from Crete to Santorini. On board you can enjoy drinks and snacks from the snack bar (not included).

Boat trip: 2 hours

2nd stop Port Athinios, of Santorini

Arrival on Santorini after about 2h boat trip. Embarkation on the buses for the guided tour.

Bus Drive to Oia: 40 minutes

3rd stopOia - 1 hour 45 minutes

Visit the beautiful blue and white village built on the cliffs of Santorini, providing amazing views of the volcanic Caldera. Participants will enjoy about 1 hour and 45 minutes of free time, to photograph the Aegean architecture and the unique view over the caldera and the Aegean sea.

Bur Drive to Fira: 30 minutes

4th stop Fira – 1 hour 20 minutes

Fira is the the main town of Santorini, built on the edge of a cliff 300 meters above the sea. Participants will enjoy its narrow streets, white vaulted houses, blue domes and magical view of the Caldera and the Volcano. 

 

Following, there are 3 available options for the next 1.5 hours:

  1. Visit by bus a black sand volcanic beach (free of charge)
  2. Take a cruise by a wooden boat to the volcano and hot springs (extra charge)
  3. Stay longer in Fira and enjoy lunch in one of the restaurants overlooking the breathtaking Caldera.

5th stop:Hotel – check in

You will  get to your hotel by your own.

Return to the port by your own, please pay attention to your guide who will assist on the embarkation procedure.

Embarkation in the buses and drive back to the hotels where we gathered participants in the morning.

Depending on traffic and on the pick-up places of each one, the time of journey back to the hotel will differ.

Is it suitable for children?

Yes, if long journeys are well tolerated

Will we sit next to each other on the boat?

The shipping company SeaJets sells tickets for the ferry according to pre-assigned seat numbers. No tour operator can pre-select seats for clients, so we cannot guarantee seats nearby. However, there are almost always free seats left to sit next to, or you can agree with one of the passengers to change seats.

Are there any improved seats on the ferry?

Yes, the cost of the additional payment for improved seats is 50 euros per person (need agreement with our representative).

Will there be a lunch?

Option to eat in a tavern (from 12-15 euros per person). You can also take a snack with you. If for lunch you have chosen a restaurant with a view of the volcano – check the prices in advance, on Santorini the prices for the view are very high.

Are there any changing rooms and showers on the beach?

The black beaches of Santorini are well organized. There you will find changing rooms, umbrellas and sunbeds, taverns and showers with fresh water.

Can I book the hotel myself?

Yes, of course. You can book the hotel yourself, then we will remove 30 euros from the cost. The only thing, in this case, you will not have a transfer to the hotel on the first day, and a transfer from the hotel to the port of Santorini on the second day.

Where will the bus pick me up?

We offer pick-up from various points such us hotels and bus stops. As soon as you complete the booking, we will contact you in order to let you know the exact place and time of the Pick-up which is closer to your place of staying.

What to visit on the second day?

On the second day, we recommend re-visiting the town of Oia (most likely, you will not have enough time to enjoy this town during the excursion), or go to the charming village of Pyrgos. Or you can buy an excursion and go to the volcano and swim in hot springs. Alternatively, if you are interested in history, visit the archaeological site of Akrotiri. It will be great to go to the White or Red beaches.

Where to get vouchers?

If you pay for an excursion on our website, we will send you a voucher by mail or by WhatsApp/Viber. You can also pay and receive vouchers at our offices or we can bring it to your hotel (unfortunately this service is available only for some areas)

What is cancellation policy?

If the excursion is cancelled more than a day in advance – 75% refund. In case of cancellation in less than a day – the cost is not refundable.
