We will start collecting participants from pick-up points in the morning. Depending on the place of your hotel/apartment the bus/car drive will differ.
The tour begins with an invigorating visit to the Kourtaliotiko Gorge, a breathtaking spectacle of natural beauty. We descend steps down into the heart of the gorge, where the melody of rushing water becomes louder as we approach. At the bottom, the sight of the river, flanked by steep cliff walls, and the cascading waterfalls make for an unforgettable start to our journey. Drive to Kourtaliotiko Gorge – 2 hours.
Leaving the Kourtaliotiko Gorge behind, we head to Preveli Palm Beach, a tropical paradise right here in Crete. The beach, nestled between a lush palm forest and the crystal-clear waters of the Libyan Sea, is the perfect spot for relaxation and a refreshing swim. Dive into the pristine water or laze on the beach, surrounded by this unique, serene landscape. Preveli Palm Beach is an enchanting spot, offering a perfect blend of tranquility and aquatic fun.

From the azure waters of Preveli Palm Beach, our journey takes us to the charming Spili village. Known for its traditional character, Spili welcomes you with its quaint streets and friendly locals. We’ll take a break here in a local tavern, where you can sit back and savor a cup of Greek coffee or delight in a glass of fresh orange juice. This visit to Spili offers a taste of Cretan hospitality and a chance to experience the relaxed pace of village life.
Drive to Spili village – 30 minutes.
Following our break in the lovely Spili village, we set course for the vibrant city of Rethymno. As one of Crete’s most charming cities, Rethymno offers a picturesque blend of history and contemporary life. You’ll witness firsthand the seamless blend of the city’s Venetian and Ottoman influences in the architecture and cultural traditions. As you stroll its lively streets and explore its unique corners, you’ll feel the pulse of Rethymno’s captivating character. The city’s historical charm, along with its modern buzz, will have you captivated, rounding off a day filled with varied Cretan experiences. From the tranquil palm-fringed beaches to the friendly village taverns, and now to the dynamic energy of Rethymno, we’ve traversed Crete’s unique landscapes together. As our journey reaches its conclusion, we will return to our initial pick-up point. Our day of exploring Crete’s vibrant countryside, history, and culture ends here, leaving you with memories to cherish and stories to share.
