Adjacent to this spot is a small river, its waters culminating in a gentle waterfall, creating a calming backdrop. Free-roaming peacocks add a touch of magic with their radiant plumage. Beneath a towering oak tree near the riverside, your picnic awaits. Savor the flavors of local Cretan delicacies as you relax in this idyllic setting. Taste traditional Cretan rusks, the locally produced graviera cheese, olives, and tomatoes, each bursting with flavor. Leaving the picnic spot behind, we continue our journey, passing through the historic village of Prinias (15 min driving). Our final destination is Agios Panteleimonos Church, majestically perched on a rock, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
